“Extremely disappointing experience. Mailchimp lost a whole batch of our draft emails that were due to go out today. There was no clear way to escalate the issue — the live chat simply ended the conversation without resolving anything. We are a healthcare business, so reliability and accountability matter. Mailchimp has a serious responsibility as a platform to deliver communications correctly, and they have not met that standard. Customer service is poor, and the lack of proper support is unacceptable. This platform should be better regulated to ensure essential communications aren’t put at risk. I would not recommend Mailchimp to anyone who needs dependable service or responsible customer support.”

“Billing is bad. Contacts roll over into new month even though contacts are removed in the previous month. No clear cancellation process without immediately deleting your account and losing everything you just paid for (including your current paid months time).”

“Stay away from Mailchimp. They charged my credit card even after my account was canceled. When I contacted support for a refund, they acted confused and refused to help — as if they didn’t understand the issue. This is not just bad service — it’s dishonest. They bill you without delivering anything, then make it impossible to get your money back. ⚠️ I consider this a scam-like practice and believe Mailchimp should be investigated by consumer authorities. Avoid this platform if you value transparency, accountability, and basic respect as a customer.”

“The customer support leaves much to be desired. I was unable to register for SMS messaging due to a technical glitch on the MailChimp site. After numerous phone calls & chats & much wasted time, I received an email saying that since MailChimp had hadn’t heard back from me, they were closing the ticket. This happened twice with no response from Maichimp when I replied that the problem had not been resolved. I give up & am moving to Constant Contact.”

“My company recently signed up for an account to send a newsletter out to our previous customers. After paying over $100 to get signed up I got an automated response that we could not submit our newsletter. We have reached out to request a full refund for service that I never received. We still have not received a response. After reading the reviews online I am concerned that I won’t ever see my money again. We have switched to Constant Contact and already have a new campaign running.”

“The system has repetatively not allowed me to log in. There are several occasions that I was not able to send my newsletter out due to this disruption. Even though I am a premium subscriber they're phone system will not allow me to reach an actual person on the weekend when newsletters are sent out. I pay way too much for this lack of use and lack of capacity to reroute. Creating new login appeared successful several times every time I have been locked out, however, it has been unsuccessful over these last few weeks. Their online assistance got me no where and have been spinning in loops between online help and phone assistance - trying every possible extension - over this last hour. This is pretty outrageous. I suppose whoever took over mailchimp doesn't acutally care about it. Perhaps they are simply trying to destroy it - some tax break or something. Bye Bye mailchimp.”
