Figma Collaborative Interface Design

“I have been a paying Figma customer and was generally happy with the product itself. Unfortunately, my recent experience with billing and customer support has been extremely disappointing. After inviting another user to collaborate and approving a seat request, I unexpectedly received a billing adjustment of €124.08. The only pricing information I recall seeing was a brief and relatively inconspicuous note in the approval email stating that approving the request would add a Full seat at €20/month. At no point did I see a clear notice indicating that this action would result in a charge of €124.08 or create a significant billing adjustment. The actual financial consequences were not apparent to me at the time. What is even more frustrating is the lack of support. My first support ticket was closed without explanation, and despite multiple attempts to contact support, I have struggled to receive clarification regarding the charge, the billing calculation, or my consumer rights. The software is excellent, but the billing experience, transparency around paid seat upgrades, and customer support have left me with very little confidence in the company. Edit: Another issue is that VAT was added a few days later to the adjusted bill, increasing the amount from €124.08 to €147.66. In my understanding, consumers within the European Union should be informed of the total price, including applicable taxes, before becoming bound by a payment obligation.”

The "security" that Figma has, is disrespectful to actual users (there are similar comments/feedback on other sites showing that this is an issue for everyone)”
